Lara Próspero is passionate about how human beings learn and develop, and how they interact in communities both real and virtual. Lara has been acting as a strategist on learning and cultural change processes, with her major focus on the definition of programs and initiatives that allow the attraction and retention of top talent individuals to act on the new digital world. With her background in Physics, Lara has been showing high problem solving capabilities, as well as disruptive creativity on how to address classical problems, in a innovative fashion. Lara joined Microsoft back in May 2012 as a PFE Manager, being involved in People Management activities for teams delivering in Western Europe Countries. In May 2015, Lara as become the Lead of the EMEA CSS MACH Program, that onboarded, trained and developed more than 200 high potential technical recent graduates in the first 3 years, in 7 different countries, integrating them in the real business market in a very short-period. Since March 2017, Lara as become the Global Program Manager for New Hire Experience Program (that includes early-in-career global program) for Customer Service and Support, an organization that counts with more than 20K employees worldwide. Lara is also a regular contributor to Diversity and Inclusion Community and to the promotion of gender gap on STEM roles. Before joining Microsoft, Lara was an Associate Manager at Aerospace & Transportation Business Solutions Unit, at Novabase, since 2008, where always practiced project management activities. Before that, Lara worked for different organisations under ESA, Eumetsat and EU contracts, where assumed several roles, namely Systems Engineer, Team Leader and Project Manager. Lara has more than 18 years of professional experience, 12 of which managing projects. Lara has a degree on Physics Engineering and a Post Graduation in Information Systems. Lara holds a level C IPMA certification (Certified Project Manager).
