Making a case for change

Before Future Works’ involvement, Nextracker’s internal software tools were fragmented, manual, and lacked the visibility and cohesion needed to support a growing global business. With limited user experience and minimal executive traction, the platform struggled to scale. We used interactive prototypes to help the C-suite visualize a smarter, unified system and rallied support for transformation.

Shipping & tracking

The shipping and tracking experience was one of Nextracker’s most critical and under-leveraged software products. With high data complexity, limited user control, and growing demand from customers, it became the ideal entry point for transformation. We collaborated closely with Nextracker’s internal and external stakeholders to redesign workflows, improve visibility, and build the foundation for a scalable, intelligence-enabled platform.

A living system

Future Works devised an upgraded art direction and UI system to be applied through the tool bringing a new elevated look and feel to the platform. 



The visual system facilitated the easy comprehension of data and clear user paths taken by key users.

Designed to scale

Future Works developed an atomic design system which allowed for rapid product development and future extensions of the platform at large.

Out in the field

We identified a need for tablet and mobile versions of the platform to allow Nextracker and it’s customers to access the shipping and tracking tool on their devices on the field.
