NextPower needed a digital transformation partner to enrich the rapidly expanding service offering and product line.
Future Works dove deep into the NextPower business identifying key pain points and opportunities to enrich key service offerings from shipping and tracking to construction. The customer experience and value was paramount. One example is the launch of a new software platform called NxOs, which tackles inefficiency and transparency in their shipping and tracking function.

NextPower’s software products are one of the fastest growing business lines within the business and is largely new for its customers. We quickly had to demonstrate the value of a new shipping and tracking tool to c-suite through interactive prototypes.
The functionality and amount of data needed to be represented and activated on the platform is dense. We worked hand in hand with NextPower’s clients and internal teams to define workflows and features that would provide efficiency, clarity, and visibility on the status of material delivery.
Future Works built the operational interface that NextPower's logistics teams and customers use day to day, focused on rapid comprehension of shipping status data and clear paths through the workflows that matter most.
The interface reduced friction in everyday tasks and gave key users a single surface for the status of material delivery.
Future Works built a composable interface system that supports rapid extension of the platform across new logistics workflows and customer-facing surfaces as the program grows.
We identified a need for tablet and mobile versions of the platform to allow NextPower and its customers to access the shipping and tracking tool on their devices in the field.
